Choosing a ringtone for your D 10 USB (ML)

If you have the D 10 USB or the D 10 USB ML, the base station is capable of producing three different ringtones. Please be aware that this function is only supported when you are using a supported softphone.

At the back of the base station you will find six small, white switches - these are the DIP switches. The first two normally regulate settings for connection with a deskphone. As the D 10 USB and D 10 USB ML can only be used via USB, on these models the first two switches are used to pick a ringtone.

Similarly, as microphone sensitivity can only be adjusted via the computer when a headset is connected via USB, the dial normally used for adjusting the microphone will here instead adjust the volume of the ringtone.

There are three possible ringtones, and you can choose from them by moving the first two DIP switches into one of the following four configurations:
